Contemporary Images of the Holme Valley
Holmfirth Artweek, 5 to 11 July
A collective exploration of the Holme Valley as it exists today: photographs by contributors to Holmfirth Photo Social.
Upstairs at O`Brien’s Beer Cafe, Holmfirth

Contributors have been asked to look beyond postcard views and respond to the valley through approaches ranging from careful observation to more experimental processes – allowing space to try things out and see where they lead – tracing the landforms, habitats, waterways and architecture that define this place.
The exhibition reflects on the landscape as something shaped by use, weather and time, bringing together a range of responses to the Holme Valley in the present day.
Buying a print
Every print is for sale. Each is a coated giclée print mounted on Foamex with hanging plates fitted, ready to hang or frame yourself. A3 max, trimmed to the image’s proportions.
One copy of each, sold as exhibited. Black Hill Creative is hosting print sales on behalf of Holmfirth Photo Social. Each sale goes to the photographer, with 20% of the sale price donated to Holmfirth Artweek. If a print’s sold and you’d like a reprint, contact the photographer through their listing.
Sold works stay on display for the full run of the show and are collected from O’Briens on Sunday 12 July. Collection only, no postage.
